Happy holidays! We hope this message finds you surrounded by friends and loved ones.
We are enormously grateful to you for your support over the years. We wouldn't have been able to accomplish half of what we've done with you. We know that the current economic challenges make every penny more valuable, and thoughts turn to weeding out "frivolous" expenses. If you find it manageable, we hope you will consider Fluid Motion in your year-end charitable plans. As you can probably guess, small theater companies are among the organizations to most severely feel the loss of funding, and we have learned to live on as little as possible. You would be surprised at what the cost of two movie tickets would help support in indie theater. Please consider a gift to Fluid Motion this December.
Your gift will help Fluid Motion produce:
THE ANTIGONE PROJECT ("Gone") by Katori Hall - a workshop production of a new play set in post-Katrina Louisiana.
PIOUS POETIC PIE by Yubelky Rodriguez - our mainstage production that spits and slams a re-interpretation of the classic story of Medea.
THE PENELOPE PROJECT by Christine Simpson - a multi-media workshop of a new play that takes on big media, the war, and new definitions of family.
IN THE PIPELINE: We're happy to announce our 2009 Start the Story Fellow - Michi Barall! With a generous gift from Cheri Wicks and Wickshaw Productions, Ms. Barall will be crafting a new play adapted from the history of Ghengis Khan accompanied by live video footage of current day Mongolia and original music.
Any gift -- at any level -- is vitally important and is tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law. You can donate online here or mail us your gift:
